Sacrament Cards

The Sacraments are the great moments in the Christian life, beginning with the Baptism (or Christening) and ending with the Anointing (or the Last Rites).  These seven sacraments – Baptism, Confirmation, Holy Communion, Reconciliation (Confession), Matrimony (Wedding), Holy Orders, Sacrament of the Sick (Anointing) - are moments of great blessing, and a greetings card is a way to share God’s blessings on most of these occasions.

We have produced a selection of cards for various of the celebrations, including the commissioning of the ministers who take Holy Communion to the sick. They began when Maureen asked us to design a card for her first grandchild and all designs were in response to requests - the Sacrament Anniversary cards beginning when a card was asked for that could be sent to all the children in a parish on the anniversary of their baptism.  Some of the cards contain the wording of an appropriate Watermead hymn.
