PILGRIMAGES TO VARIOUS PILGRIM CENTRES IN ITALY
Over the years we have arranged two or three venue pilgrimage holidays to Italy, beginning or ending in Rome and staying in (or visiting en route) various of the Italian pilgrimage places and cities -
This page is intended as an information page for the pilgrims travelling with us -
We aim to book for Rome and Assisi every other year as the combination of these two places of pilgrimage has become a popular request by our returning pilgrims -
In 2018 we are planning a Franciscan pilgrimage and shall be staying in Padua (with day trips to Venice) and also in Assisi.
Contact us for further details.
PADUA, VENICE & ASSISI : 23rd -
2017 saw our first successful pilgrimage to Stresa and Lake Maggiore.
Stresa is where the founder of Fr John's religious Order (the Rosminians), Antonio Rosmini, is buried. The lake is the second largest lake in Italy, situated in the north west of the country, and crosses the border into Switzerland. Our hotel is on the lake and Fr John planned to show everyone around the area he came to love during his time studying for the priesthood in Rome and Italy.
Unfortunately, although he arranged and planned the itinerary for the 2017 pilgrimage Fr John had to withdraw from leading the group for medical reasons. Fr David Tobin, a Rosminian priest and friend, stepped in to guide people around and pilgrims reported back that they had a wonderful time. We are planning a return trip for 2018 -
This pilgrimage is fully booked
